SysHardener can help you improve your system's security, by making a wide range of tweaks, to plug up possible security holes. Though it's mostly intended for more experienced users, the software is quite easy to master. It takes only a few clicks to disable or restrict numerous system features, which can present real threats to your system's security.

Installing SysHardener on a Windows-powered computer shouldn't be a challenge. The process is quick and it doesn't involve any complicated settings. The software is compatible with all modern Windows versions and it doesn't require any special tools or services to run.

All the tweaks you can make to your system are listed directly on the application's user interface. All you have to do is click their check boxes and hit an Apply button. It may take some time to apply your settings and you may need to reboot your computer. Also, the software will offer to create a system restore point, just to be safe.

There is a huge number of settings you can make. The software can make user account control changes, disable various file associations and turn off specific features in certain programs, like Adobe Reader or MS Office. Blocking incoming and outgoing connections, for specific applications, is another possibility.

For more advanced users, the software gives quick access to a series of system tools, like the Registry editor, Windows Services and many others. You can find them on a separate tab and you can launch any of them with a single click.

SysHardener is an excellent solution for beefing up a computer's security as quickly and easily as possible.

Pros

The software can make various tweaks to the system itself or to individual applications, to plug up security holes. All settings can be made just by clicking a series of check boxes. The software can create system restore points automatically.

Cons

There are no serious issues to address.
